Everything you need to know about learning to drive with me
You need to be 17 to drive on UK roads. Pro tip: apply for your provisional licence up to 3 months before your birthday so you're ready to go the moment you turn 17.
Just your provisional driving licence. Apply online through DVLA - usually arrives within a week. That's literally it. Bring yourself, I'll handle the rest.
Everyone's different. Some are test-ready in 20-25 lessons, others need more. I'll give you honest progress updates - no padding lessons, no rushing before you're ready.
I offer 1-hour and 2-hour sessions. 2 hours is recommended - more time means better progress and better value per hour. But 1-hour works too if that fits your schedule.
Anywhere within a 10-mile radius of the local area. Home, work, college, uni - wherever's convenient for you. We'll agree pickup location when you book.
Zero. The price includes everything - car, fuel, insurance. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay. No surprises, no upsells.
Absolutely - most of my students do. You'll be comfortable with the car you've learned in. I'll drive you to the test centre and be there waiting when you come back.
It happens to plenty of great drivers. We'll analyse what went wrong, work on those specific areas, and nail it next time. Many successful drivers didn't pass first attempt.
48 hours notice required for cancellations. Less than that may be charged at full rate (I can't fill the slot at short notice). Genuine emergencies handled case by case - just communicate.
Rain, wind, whatever - it's all good practice for real driving. Only exception is genuinely dangerous conditions (heavy snow/ice). Those get rescheduled at no cost to you.
